Closure Design and Development is a critical aspect of the automobile industry, requiring a deep understanding of engineering principles and system documents.

About the Job:

  • We are seeking an experienced Closures Design Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in Closures Design & Development at Automobile OEMs.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the automobile domain, specifically in closures design, with expertise in CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter.
  • This includes designing Front Door, Rear Door, Tailgate, Engine hood, and Fender systems using sheet metal, aluminum, extrusions, and plastics parts.
  • A key responsibility of the role is complete project execution of Closure systems.
  • The successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of engineering and system documents like DFMEA, DVP, DFA, and good technical knowledge of automotive Sheet metal parts, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
  • Presentation skills, including preparation and delivery of concepts/master sections, are also required.
  • Tolerance stack up and GD&T are added advantages.
  • Supplier interaction and part development experience are also desirable.

Key Qualifications:

  • B.E (Mechanical / Automobile) degree with relevant experience.
  • Strong background in CATIA and PLM software's like Teamcenter.
  • Excellent understanding of engineering principles and system documents.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
