Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and development of BIW components and structures for Passenger & Commercial Vehicles.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop BIW components and structures, including Upper Body, Closures, Underbody, and Front-End Structure.
  • Support Value Analysis - Value Engineering (VA-VE), concept creation, and innovative design proposals.
  • Collaborate with Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE), manufacturing, and cross-functional teams for integration and feasibility.
  • Ensure compliance with structural, safety, noise vibration harshness (NVH), and homologation requirements.
  • Deliver designs aligned with project targets, including cost, weight, quality, and timing.

 

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), vehicle packaging, assembly processes, and feasibility.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, stamping, and regulations.
  • B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or related field.
  • 4-8 years of experience in BIW design and development.
  • Proficiency in CATIA V5 (Part, Assembly, Sheet Metal, GSD, Drawing) and Teamcenter.
