Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Information Systems Professional to join our team. As a GIS engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the production and management of geospatial data across various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Purpose-built geographic information systems through digitization and geocoding processes
  • Cultivate spatial data for accuracy and integrity across projects
  • Incorporate GIS solutions with existing frameworks and customize applications to meet client demands
  • Maintain collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive GIS solutions
  • Meet project SLAs by delivering quality work within specified timelines
  • Demonstrate attention to detail to produce precise and accurate geospatial data
  • Participate in field surveys as required to collect accurate geospatial information

Essential Skills and Tools:

  • Tech-savviness in GIS concepts and software tools
  • Expertise in GIS tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, MapInfo, GeoServer, AutoCAD
  • Aptitude to participate in fieldwork and adapt to various project requirements
  • Data entry tasks and data mining-related work experience
  • Data capturing using satellite imagery in ARCGIS, AutoCAD, QGIS
  • Familiarity with online software like Google Drive and Google Sheets
  • CAD tool experience
  • Ability to travel to other cities according to project requirement

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in GIS application development and implementation
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or Diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, Civil Engineering, or related fields
  • Certifications in GIS technologies or related areas are advantageous
