Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Project Manager (Event Tech) to join our team

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your project management skills and technical expertise to deliver seamless event technology solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing technology-related aspects of events, ensuring the integration of event tech solutions and delivering exceptional experiences for attendees.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Event Technology Planning: Develop and implement event technology plans, working closely with stakeholders to understand event goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to source and manage event tech equipment and services.
  • Manage Event Timelines and Budgets: Ensure successful execution of event tech requirements by managing project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  • Coordinate Vendor Management: Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Onsite Technical Support: Provide technical support during events, troubleshooting issues promptly to ensure smooth operations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address potential tech-related issues at events.
  • Tech Solution Development: Evaluate and recommend new event tech solutions to improve efficiency and enhance attendee experiences.
  • Data Security Compliance: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all event tech implementations.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Conduct post-event analysis and provide reports to assess tech performance and identify areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in the events or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of technical requirements.
  • Excellent vendor management skills with the ability to negotiate contracts and oversee service delivery.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced dynamic event environments and troubleshoot tech issues effectively.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP) or related field is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of data security and privacy regulations relevant to event tech implementations.
