Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, planning, and construction of breakwater systems to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
  • Oversee port expansion projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
  • Apply expertise in hydrodynamics, coastal erosion, and sediment transport to optimize breakwater and shoreline protection systems.
  • Collaborate with government bodies, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • E nsure strict adherence to HSE guidelines and sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact during construction.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in breakwater construction, port development, or coastal engineering projects.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing breakwater systems, including knowledge of materials, hydrodynamics, and coastal processes.
  • Ability to manage large teams and collaborate across departments to meet project goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills in challenging coastal environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.E. (Civil Engineering) or equivalent.
  • Coastal Engineering Certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience working in the Kerala region or on Indian port development projects.

The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design, planning, and construction of breakwater systems to ensure protection of port infrastructure.
