As a Credentialing Senior Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operational credentialing and privileging activities. You will collaborate with the Credentialing Manager to ensure proper functioning of activities, policies, and procedures. This role requires expertise in CAQH modules and proficiency in verifying primary source data, such as provider education, board certifications, licensure, and other eligibilities/documents.
Responsibilities- Ensure credentialing processes adhere to professional standards, bylaws, state and federal regulatory requirements
- Oversee day-to-day operational credentialing and privileging activities
- Collaborate with the Credentialing Manager to ensure proper functioning of activities, policies, and procedures
- Act as a resource and subject matter expert, resolving issues, coordinating with Credentialing contacts regarding the credentialing process
- Verify primary source data, such as provider education, board certifications, licensure, and other eligibilities/documents
- Work on experience in all modules of CAQH
- Ensure timely credentialing and re-credentialing of network providers, working with Internal/External Teams to ensure credentialing files completed within timeframe and compliance
- Communicate with payers for enrollment application status and take necessary actions
