Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished data scientist to drive innovation in medical image diagnostics. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the development of intelligent, holistic, and patient-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Select and optimize deep learning models for classifier engines using feature engineering techniques.
  • Apply suitable image processing methods to address complex problems in medical image analysis.
  • Design and implement scalable architectures for training, inference, and deployment pipelines.
  • Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop RESTful APIs and integrate them into deep learning architectures.
  • Contribute to the architectural design of data platforms to support large-scale experimentation and production workloads.

Requirements

  • Expertise in software engineering skills, particularly in Python, with emphasis on clean code, modularity, and testability.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Deep Learning techniques such as ANN, CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformers, VAEs, etc.
  • Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch framework in building, training, testing, and deploying neural networks.
  • Knowledge of common data science and deep learning libraries and toolkits such as Keras, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Numpy, Scipy, OpenCV, etc.
  • Good applied statistical skills, including distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative development practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (Master's degree will be considered a plus).
  • 3-5 years of experience in solving problems in the domain of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a good attitude and ability to adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Experience with model optimization techniques, such as ONNX conversion, TensorRT, and model distillation, will be an advantage.
