Radiology Medical Coder Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Medical Coder to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing radiology reports to assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in coding radiology modalities including X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Radiation oncology.
  • You will work closely with radiologists, billing staff, and auditors to resolve coding discrepancies and ensure compliance with ACR, CMS, and payer guidelines.
  • We require the successful candidate to stay updated with coding guidelines, NCCI edits, and regulatory changes, as well as meet daily productivity and accuracy benchmarks.
Qualifications
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
  • A minimum of one to two years' hands-on experience in radiology coding is preferred.
  • MIPS Coding is mandatory.
  • The successful candidate must have in-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
  • Familiarity with payer-specific rules and LCD/NCD policies is essential.
