Medical Devices Support Specialist

This role involves managing medical device turnaround at our facility. We are looking for an individual to perform disinfection and cleaning of medical devices, inspect devices for functional issues after patient usage, replace components and consumable parts where needed, conduct routine QC checks, and maintain calibration logs.

Troubleshooting & Basic Repairs

  • Diagnose control unit electronics issues and perform minor repairs.
  • Coordinate with technical teams for advanced repairs or escalations.
  • Perform software/firmware updates if required.

Device Deployment Support

  • Responsible for device pickups and installations at hospitals/home-care centers when needed.
  • Deploy new devices / rental devices as per the requirement.
  • Provide basic usage training to healthcare staff when deploying devices.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain service records, device usage hours, complaints, and interventions.
  • Prepare regular reports for operational and product teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
  • 1–3 years of experience in servicing medical equipment (e.g., infusion pumps, suction machines, ventilators, patient monitors).
  • Hands-on skills in basic electronics troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with infection control practices is a plus.

  • Willingness to travel locally for device pickups/deployments when needed.
