Medical Device Development Lead

At our company, we are seeking a skilled Medical Device Development Lead to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves leading the development of medical devices from concept to commercialization.

  • Lead device workstream for Metered Dose Inhaler Dosage form, from device selection, development, troubleshooting to regulatory submissions and commercial support.
  • Support development of injectable drug-device combination products. Custom design / design troubleshooting of delivery devices.
  • Build in-vitro setups, test various design iterations, analysis drug delivery performance

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Coordinating with device manufacturers for selecting the right device
  2. Conducting design verification to comply with defined user requirements
  3. Developing test methods/fixtures and validating them
  4. Working with formulation or different stakeholders to complete device documentation such as functional specifications, quality attributes

You will be working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of device development are properly addressed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in medical device development or drug delivery devices in pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge in medical devices / combination product development
  • Ability to author Design History file
  • Test Method development & validation expertise
