Job Title: Human Resource Manager

We are seeking a skilled Human Resource Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Human Resources Office, including recruitment, total compensation, and training and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including interviewing and selecting candidates with the appropriate skills.

  • Establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources, attend job fairs, and ensure documentation of outreach efforts.

  • Network with local organizations to source candidates for current or future openings and oversee the candidate identification and selection process.

  • Provide subject matter expertise to property managers regarding selection procedures and partner with vendor partners to ensure effective advertisement efforts.

  • Perform quality control on candidate identification and selection.

  • Administer and educate employee benefits, including working with the unemployment services provider and ensuring that department has available resources on hand to administer employee benefits.

  • Support a departmental orientation program for employees to receive new hire training and ensures employees are cross-trained to support successful daily operations.

  • Maintain effective employee communication channels, review progressive discipline documentation, and utilize an open-door policy to acknowledge employee problems or concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with procedure for accessing, reviewing, and auditing employee files and ensure medical records are maintained in a separate, secure, and confidential medical file.

  • Facilitate random, reasonable belief, and post-accident drug testing process, communicate property rules and regulations, and conduct periodic claims reviews.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED, 3 years of experience in human resources management operations or related professional area, or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major and 1 year of experience in human resources management operations or related professional area.
