Human Resources Manager Job Description

This role involves overseeing various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, HR policies and compliance, employee engagement, and HR metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job postings to final selections.
  • Onboarding and Orientation: Coordinate a smooth onboarding experience for new employees, providing necessary training and orientation.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and design programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews and employee benefits.
  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure adherence to employment laws and regulations through the development and update of HR policies.
  • Employee Engagement: Implement initiatives to boost employee engagement and satisfaction.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and analyze HR metrics, preparing reports for management.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience: Significant experience in human resources management, with a track record of progressive HR roles and people management experience.
  • Skills:
    • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
    • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
