Quality Assurance Specialist

Purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced quality assurance specialist to join our team, specializing in finance operations. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of finance operations, quality management, and assurance methodologies. This role requires a hands-on individual with proven experience in implementing quality procedures, ensuring quality control, performing sampling techniques, and delivering comprehensive reports and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality methodologies
  • Lead and execute quality audits
  • Assess internal controls
  • Prepare and publish quality reports
  • Identification of quality training requirements in coordination with stakeholders
  • Conduct quality awareness sessions
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes, reduce defects, and increase efficiency
  • Support various quality requirements

Qualifications Guidelines:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree (Any Specialization) / MBA (Any Specialization), relevant quality certifications e.g. Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or similar certifications preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong accounting and auditing knowledge: Possesses a solid and relevant auditing standards
  • Extensive experience in finance quality control: With 8-10 years in the field, with proven track record of ensuring accuracy and efficiency in finance processes
  • Meticulous documentation: Adhere to quality standards and maintain detailed documentation
  • Strong stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with stakeholders
  • Effective communication: Clearly document quality findings, including weaknesses and inefficiencies
  • Data analytics skills (preferred): Experience with data analytics tools and techniques is a plus
  • Auditing techniques (preferred): Experience with risk assessment, control testing, and audit sampling techniques is also beneficial
