Cinema Manager Job Opportunity

Seeking a highly skilled Cinema Manager to lead daily operations at our theatre. The successful candidate will oversee staff management, customer service, box office performance, and concessions and technical aspects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Theatre Operations Management: Manage all aspects of theatre operations, including staff management, customer service, and box office performance.
  • Staff Management: Lead a team of theatre staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve business objectives.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer experiences through proactive issue resolution, courteous interactions, and prompt responses to customer inquiries.
  • Box Office Performance: Analyze sales trends, identify opportunities for growth, and implement strategies to increase revenue.
  • Concessions and Technical Coordination: Manage concession sales, coordinate technical aspects, and ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Health and Safety Standards: Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment for customers and staff.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor's /Post graduate degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality or similar field is preferred.
  • MBA or Diploma in Hospitality/Operations Management is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with cinemas is mandatory.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct staff towards shared goals.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Customer-focused with a problem-solving mindset, capable of analyzing issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Cinema Management Systems: Knowledge of cinema management systems (POS, ticketing, scheduling software), with the ability to efficiently operate and troubleshoot these systems.
  • Projection and AV Systems: Basic understanding of projection and AV systems, an advantage in this role.
