Technical Support Engineer Role

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will provide top-notch technical support to internal and external customers, including customer service teams and clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting technical issues with minimal support from the development team, engaging with customers to quickly identify and resolve their problems, and offering workarounds to customers when fixes are not immediately available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to internal and external users, including customer service teams and clients.
  • Communicate and coordinate feedback and inputs to the development team based in India.
  • Assist QA leads with quality assurance activities.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with minimal support from the development team.
  • Engage with customers to quickly identify and resolve their problems.
  • Offer workarounds to customers when fixes are not immediately available.
  • Deliver timely and accurate customer feedback.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure issue resolution.
  • Support new application rollouts.
  • Develop procedural documentation for support.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Evaluate and test new releases.
  • Propose innovative solutions for smooth operational processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology, experience with tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces, and proficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS, and browser-based debugging.

  • US office hours (9 am to 6 pm Central Time).
  • Experience with tech support for web-based business applications and mobile interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Linux, Java, JavaScript (React), MySQL, AWS, and browser-based debugging.
  • Knowledge of JSON format, REST APIs, database queries, and logs.
  • Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.
  • Familiarity with ticket management tools like Clickup, Jira, Trello, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
