About the Role

As a seasoned business leader, you will lead the business growth for Movie ticketing on Amazon. Your primary responsibility will be to develop short and long-term goals for business growth and own the Profit & Loss (P&L).

This role requires strong experience in establishing and growing categories, working with senior internal and external business leaders, and developing a broad understanding of movies and entertainment business.

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and leading weekly, monthly, and annual business reviews
  • Establishing and leading implementation of category learnings, insights, and business strategies
  • Managing and owning the promotional strategy and planning across all channels
  • Partnering with other Amazon teams such as Pay, Categories, and Prime to identify and execute opportunities
  • Identifying new approaches for growing the business, driving initiatives to increase category awareness, and creating processes to better manage the performance of the category over the long term

You must be able to develop and drive clear strategic initiatives and roll up your sleeves to understand many perspectives and experiences.

A successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience with Excel, account management, project or program management, or buying experience, and a Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of professional or military experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL is also required.

Salary Information

We estimate the salary range for this role to be between $150,000 - $200,000 per year, based on national averages and industry standards.
