Pricing Strategist Role

This position is part of our Global Sales Operations team, responsible for driving pricing strategy, managing global and regional price lists, analyzing market competitiveness, and supporting sales teams with pricing requests.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate Global & Local Price Lists (GLP, CLP) in SAP/CPQ and sales tools.
  • Create and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market positioning.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors, apply statistical models for profitability insights, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Offer daily pricing support for non-standard requests and customer-specific agreements.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on pricing new products, accessories, and spare parts.
  • Deliver pricing reports & KPIs (price realization, evolution, margin analysis) to management.
  • Train global/regional stakeholders on pricing processes and concepts.

Requirements

To succeed as a Pricing Strategist, you will need:

  • Experience: 3+ years in pricing management (ideally in the pump industry or similar).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's is an advantage).
  • Technical Skills: Strong in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SAP (ERP, CPQ, Variant Configurator).
  • Soft Skills: Analytical, detail-oriented, collaborative, excellent communicator.
  • Languages: Fluent in English.
  • Ability to work independently in a global, cross-functional environment.
