Achieving Impact Through Strategic Programme Leadership

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to drive programme portfolios in India, focusing on effective planning and outcome-oriented delivery.

The successful candidate will contribute to designing and steering impactful initiatives, identifying collaboration opportunities and strengthening impact.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • (A) Programme Planning & Strategy: Develop long-term strategies, identify opportunities for growth and improve programme outcomes.
  • (B) Programme Management: Oversee programme areas, guide project teams and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • (C) Partnership Development: Engage with implementing agencies, knowledge partners and peer organisations to enhance programme success.
  • (D) Team Support & Development: Provide mentoring support, encourage a collaborative culture and promote learning and accountability.
  • (E) Monitoring & Learning: Implement effective tracking systems, capture lessons learned and adapt strategies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in social sciences, development studies or a related field.
  • At least 12-15 years of relevant experience in programme design, management or evaluation within the development sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, ability to develop partnerships, excellent communication and analytical abilities.
