Job Title: Fresh FMCG Product Manager

This role involves leading the FMCG category team to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 members, ensuring smooth buying and movement of goods from vendors to stores.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. They must also have good team management and training skills to groom their team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the FMCG category team to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure smooth buying and movement of goods from vendors to stores.
  • Conduct classroom training and on-the-job training for team members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize off-takes and ensure best promotions in stores.
  • Discuss and close monthly and quarterly plans with FMCG vendors.
  • Train and groom purchase officers and assistant purchase managers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate/MBA with minimum 10 years of experience in FMCG sales.
  • Experience in general trade is preferred.
  • Knowledge of local language/location is required.
  • Good communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Team management and training skills.
