Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned AI Development Manager to lead and mentor a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader who can drive the entire AI development lifecycle, from ideation and architecture to deployment and monitoring.

This role requires a strong blend of technical acumen, project management skills, and a passion for developing and growing people.

Responsibilities include leading the design, architecture, and development of scalable, high-performance AI/ML solutions, driving the team's technical strategy and roadmap, and ensuring alignment with overall business goals and product vision.

The selected candidate will also act as a hands-on subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the quality and robustness of AI models and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership & Strategy:
  • Lead the design, architecture, and development of scalable, high-performance AI/ML solutions.
  • Drive the team's technical strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and product vision.
  • Act as a hands-on subject matter expert, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and ensuring the quality and robustness of AI models and applications.

The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI/ML development, demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing technical team, excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively across teams.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7+ years of experience in AI/ML roles, with at least 2-3 years in a technical leadership, team lead, or management position.
  • Deep expertise in Python and a strong command of machine learning and deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
  • Proven experience with the full AI development lifecycle, including data engineering, model development, and production deployment.
  • Hands-on experience with MLOps principles and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for AI/ML development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing technical team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and collaborate effectively across teams.
