Accounting Specialist

Are you an organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for accounting? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting in bank, merchant, and credit card reconciliations, as well as other accounting functions. This role is part of a larger accounting team that produces timely and accurate monthly statements.
Responsibilities:- Complete monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliations and identify discrepancies
- Reconcile and post merchant fee statements in a timely manner
- Review third-party payment processor statements for errors or inconsistencies
- File and record documents and receipts in a secure and organized manner
Key Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant qualification
- Associate Degree in Accounting or Business Field (desired)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with QuickBooks software (preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
