Accounting and Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for leading the accounting function and ensuring accurate and systematic recording of financial transactions in accordance with established accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transaction Recording:
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including income and expenses, in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Maintain and review records of invoices, expense bills, receipts from payment gateways, and other relevant financial documents.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of accounting operations.
  • Payroll Administration:
  • Process payroll, including calculation of salaries, bonuses, and other benefits, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other welfare programs.
  • Manage payroll-related tax compliance, including withholding taxes, deductions, and payments.
  • Investigate and resolve payroll-related issues, including errors, discrepancies, and non-compliance.
  • Statutory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations, including GAAP, IFRS, and tax laws.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including income tax returns, GST returns, and other statutory filings.
  • Comply with labour laws, including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), and other welfare schemes.
  • Communication and Teamwork:
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including management, colleagues, and external parties.
  • Communicate complex accounting and payroll information to non-accounting staff, including explanations of financial concepts and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of accounting and payroll services.
