Transaction Services Manager

Job Opportunity in a Big 4 Consulting Firm - FDD

Location: Mumbai & Gurgaon

Qualification: Chartered Accountant

Domain: Transaction Service – Financial Due diligence, Deal Advisory

Experience: 5–8 years in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence / Audit or Accounting firms

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Manager in Transaction Services, you will work on complex, high-profile transactions such as acquisitions, mergers, and buyouts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading Financial Due Diligence Engagements: Identifying key transaction issues and providing insightful solutions.
  • Preparing High-Quality Reports: Compiling and reviewing reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Managing Assignments: Leading smaller assignments independently or assisting on larger ones under Partner supervision.
  • Building Client Relationships: Establishing credibility with clients and representing Transaction Services in deal discussions.
  • Maintaining Professional Networks: Building relationships with senior/mid-level contacts for future business opportunities.
  • Supporting Business Development: Contributing to proposals, practice development, and team growth initiatives.
  • Team Management: Managing, mentoring, and providing feedback to junior staff.
  • Risk Management: Ensuring risk management and compliance documentation is completed as per firm standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Qualification: Chartered Accountant
  • Experience: 5–8 years in Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence / Audit or Accounting firms
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; IFRS knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure: Willingness to travel (domestic & international) and manage multiple assignments with tight deadlines.
