Department Overview
The vision of Strategy, Digital, and Innovation Operations is to provide thought leadership in digital products for Wells Fargo. The mission is to build an agile and nimble digital product organization that partners closely with lines of business to deliver a seamless digital banking experience through innovation, thought leadership, and excellence in execution.
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Product Owner/Business Analyst to join our Strategy, Digital, and Innovation Operations team. As a Senior Product Owner/Business Analyst, you will be responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead or participate in complex functions within the digital environment
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to the execution of the digital strategy
- Review and analyze complex content strategy/creation, customer experience, analytics/research, or product management that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Independently resolve complex issues
- Lead teams to meet project deliverables while leveraging a solid understanding of digital initiatives, policies, procedures, and/or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Potentially lead projects, teams, or provide direction to junior staff on less complex digital initiatives
Requirements
- 4+ years of digital product management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desirable Qualifications
- Strong backlog management skills and understanding of a product engineering mindset
- Comprehensive understanding of wire transfer processes, SWIFT, Fedwire, and other wire payments
- Experience in leading projects in an agile environment, implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery mind-set
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with different levels of stakeholders in the organization
- Affinity to build data flows, workflows, UX conceptions, and mockups
- Knowledge in JIRA, Confluence, and InVision
- Ability to understand and assess a strategy and ensure that project objectives support that strategy
- Continuous improvement mind-set that ensures a constant forward motion in the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of delivery
- Experience working in a global team while representing the regional context
- Basic software development knowledge
