Incident Coordinator Job Description

The Incident Coordinator role is a critical position within our IT operations team, responsible for end-to-end incident coordination and management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring & Alert Management:
  • Monitor infrastructure alerts and notifications in real-time to prevent issues from escalating.
  • Log tickets based on alerts using defined standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure timely issue resolution.

As an Incident Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for cross-team communication, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective issue resolution in a global 24x7 support environment. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure will enable you to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management concepts and industry-standard frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
