Job Title: Internal Control Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Internal Control Professional to join our team. As an Internal Control Professional, you will be responsible for conducting independent reviews of internal controls, ensuring timely reporting to team members and management, and implementing control processes and corrective actions.

You will facilitate and coordinate the completion of mandatory Statutory, Corporate, and Asia reporting requirements, review and ensure adherence to US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and Company's internal policies.

  • Conduct independent on-site internal control reviews and ensure appropriate and timely implementation of control processes and corrective actions.
  • Undertake special projects to identify opportunities for process simplification, standardization, and automation, with an eventual view to strengthen internal controls while reducing inefficiencies, inaccuracies, and overall workload.
  • Thoroughly assess all areas of risks and implement complete and effective risk management strategies across all functional areas.
  • Facilitate and coordinate the completion of mandatory reporting requirements such as Quarterly Attestation and Semi-Annual Balance Sheet Reviews.
  • Support the location management teams for Operational and Financial audits by assisting in preparation, liaising with auditors, response development, and closure of deficiencies.
  • Analyzing and evaluating accounting documents to check compliance with US GAAP, Indian Accounting Standards, and Company's internal policy.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant with more than 8 years of experience in internal audit/accounting audit/internal control role with at least 4 years in a Big 4 environment.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with cross-functional departments.
  • Able to perform Process Audit and Month close review independently.
  • Outstanding knowledge on US GAAP and Indian Accounting standards.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly adaptable and able to work well under ambiguity.
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, with strong time management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project).
