Financial Administrator Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Administrator to support our finance and operations team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Assist with BAS, GST, and other tax-related filings.
- Process payroll and superannuation contributions (if required).
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Work with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
- Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of financial administration/accounting experience (Australian clients or companies preferred).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
- Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal). Clear, professional, and confident communicator.
- Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Australian businesses.
- Certification in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Strong Excel and reporting skills.
