Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Accountant to join our team.

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing insightful reports, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant located in Ernakulam. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining financial records and preparing reports that provide valuable insights into the company's financial performance
  • Reconciling bank statements to ensure accuracy and prevent errors
  • Assisting with audits and providing timely support to the audit team
  • Processing invoices and preparing balance sheets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling payroll and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

In addition to these key responsibilities, the Junior Accountant will also contribute to the effective financial management of the company by identifying areas for cost savings and implementing process improvements. To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

You will also be required to have:

  • Financial record-keeping and report preparation skills
  • Experience in handling payroll and processing invoices
  • General understanding of financial regulations and compliance
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary package, including a salary of Rs 2.4 lakhs to Rs 3 lakhs per annum.
