Our company seeks a highly skilled leader to oversee accounting practices and procedures.

This key role involves supervising a team of accountants, implementing policies under the direction of the Accounting Manager, and ensuring accurate financial records.

The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to lead by example.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a group of general accountants or accounting clerks in maintaining intercompany accounts.
  • Implement processes and procedures that capture, track, and record intercompany transactions accurately.
  • BUILD A STRONG RELATIONSHIP WITH PROCESS PARTNERS AND CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS TO DRIVE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENTS.
  • Evaluate business processes to identify risks and internal control gaps.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights for stakeholders and drive business improvements.
  • Design, modify, install, and maintain accounting systems to ensure accurate recognition of financial transactions.
  • Coach and mentor accountants and accounting clerks to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

  1. Candidate must have at least 12 years of experience with team management.
  2. Must be able to communicate complex financial concepts effectively.
  3. Experience with benchmarking activities and process improvement is a plus.

Requirements

A minimum of a college degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant, or similar certification preferred.

Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required, including some supervisory experience.
