Job Description

As a senior professional, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audit services to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to lead engagement teams on planning and execution of audits, reviews, or compilations, ensuring that we provide world-class client service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review, or compilation engagement.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, financial reporting, and conclusion.
  • Providing supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors, promoting open communication with the engagement partner.
  • Collaborating with engagement team partners on client issue resolution and making recommendations for legal, regulatory, and accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement.
  • Managing multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client deadlines efficiently.
  • Creating and tracking engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies that may arise during the audit.
  • Conducting constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and providing counsel accordingly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Master's; CPA preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of public accounting experience, with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
  • Experience auditing real estate, technology, and financial services clients is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills, including familiarity with US GAAP.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client/internal relationships.
  • Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
  • Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the firm well to clients' management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management skills, strong attention to detail, and proven innovative problem-solving skills.
