Internal Audit Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Internal Auditor. As a key member of the internal audit function, you will play a vital role in evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes within our organization.

About the Role: The Internal Auditor will be responsible for executing robust internal audit engagements and testing and monitoring activities in line with the annual internal audit program. This includes evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying deficiencies or weaknesses in processes, systems, or practices, and providing recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

  • Audit Execution: Execute internal audit engagements and testing and monitoring activities.
  • Control Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Audit Planning: Prepare audit engagement plans tailored to specific risks and objectives.
  • Reporting & Communication: Document audit findings and provide clear reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and improvements.
  • Follow-up & Resolution: Monitor and track audit findings and management responses.
  • Team Support & Guidance: Provide support and guidance to colleagues on risk management and control-related matters.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with a strong background in internal auditing and a proven track record of delivering high-quality audit services. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of internal audit principles and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
  • Professional qualifications (IIA CIA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalents) are an added advantage.
  • At least 12 months of progressive internal audit experience.
