About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, specifically within the building materials industry. You will be responsible for generating leads, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving sales targets for a diverse range of products, including: ● Building Materials: Puff Panels, MS Sheets, PPGI/L Sheets, Sanitary &CP, Tiles, Wires & Cables, PVC Pipes, Fiber Cement Boards, Gypsum Boards Key Responsibilities: ● Lead Generation: ○ Actively seek and identify potential customers through offline & online channels ( internet, B2B platforms, and e-commerce marketplaces ) ○ Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies to expand the customer base. ● Sales & Business Development: ○ Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. ○ Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations. ○ Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and proposals. ○ Negotiate and close sales deals. ○ Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets. ● Market Research & Analysis: ○ Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments. ○ Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and expand product offerings. ● Customer Service: ○ Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction. ○ Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. ● Travel: ○ Be willing to travel frequently to meet with clients, attend industry events, and conduct site visits in the geography allotted ( region ) Required Skills & Qualifications: ● 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the building materials industry. ● Strong understanding of the building materials market and competitive landscape. ● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. ● Strong negotiation and closing skills. ● Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools. ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ● Strong work ethic and a results-oriented approach. ● Excellent time management and organizational skills. ● Proficiency in using computers and relevant software (MS Office Suite, etc.). ● Willingness to travel extensively. ● "Hunger" and "dynamic" approach - A strong desire to succeed, a proactive and energetic personality, and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
