About the position:• Remote (India)• Full-time
What you’ll do:Design and implement statistical experiments to test and validate hypotheses on various datasetsCarry out advanced data analyses to understand complex datasets and complex problemsCommunicate design and impact of data science projects and present analytical conclusions in reports to internal and external stakeholdersCollaborate with other team members to develop, test, and implement data-driven trading strategies
What you bring: (requirements)PhD or Masters in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Bioinformatics, or related field
OR
Relevant work experience in trading, quantitative research and modellingDeep understanding of statistical modellingStrong coding skills and fluency with the numerical and statistical libraries (Python or Matlab)Experience applying statistical analysis to small and large datasetsExperience working in a Linux environmentDemonstrated ability to exchange ideas and convey complex information clearly andconcisely both verbally and in writing
