This role will lead the finance strategy office, focusing on optimizing IT & operating costs, embedding automation, and building a governance framework that delivers measurable efficiency and long-term financial excellence.Key Responsibilities:Partner with the CFO to design and implement our multi-year financial efficiency roadmap.Lead enterprise-wide initiatives in cost optimization, automation, and process transformation across all business units.Translate financial insights into actionable programs that enhance profitability and cash flow.Audit IT & SaaS spend; deliver 20–30% annual reduction through rightsizing, contract renegotiation, and vendor consolidation.Build and govern the tech spend framework for visibility, control, and ROI tracking.Explore AI-based cloud cost optimization tools and evaluate startup PoCs to drive smarter technology utilization.Identify and automate 3–5 high-effort, low-value workflows across finance, operations, and content.Deploy AI and analytics to drive efficiency, standardization, and faster decision cycles.Establish a process excellence function under the CFO to ensure sustained gains.Conduct workforce productivity mapping ('who does what') to optimize global cost structures.Reallocate or outsource transactional work to India/SEA hybrid delivery hubs.Partner with HR to integrate performance and productivity analytics.Create and manage the finance strategy office, acting as the CFO's program management hub.Develop dashboards and savings scorecards.Institutionalize reporting cadence and quarterly reviews with all business units.Functional KPIs:Deliver annualized $2M–$5M in verified cost savings.Reduce cloud/IT spend by 20–30% YoY.Consolidate redundant tools/vendors by ≥30%.Achieve ≥25% productivity uplift in identified functions.Build enterprise-wide automation playbooks deployed across at least 3 business units.Strategic KPIs:Operationalize a finance strategy & transformation office under CFO within 6 months.Embed AI-based cost visibility and reporting across our ecosystem.Partner with BU heads to reorient global cost structures using outsourcing/automation.Institutionalize a quarterly financial efficiency review cadence.Deliver sustainable YoY improvement in EBITDA margins through structural cost discipline.
