Job OverviewThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) oversees financial planning, analysis, and operations. This includes preparing financial statements, managing cash flow, overseeing audits, and ensuring legal compliance.Responsibilities:Directs preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.Supports financial planning and analysis efforts.Oversees cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company audits.Ensures legal compliance on all financial functions.Manages relationships with banks.Prepares financial budget, variance analysis for budgeted vs actual spending.Analyzes operations to identify areas in need of optimization.Studies long-range economic trends and projects their impact on future growth in sales and market share.Identifies opportunities for expansion into new product areas.Oversees investment of surplus funds.Requirements:Excellent management and supervisory skills.Excellent analytical and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of different bank products is an added advantage.Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Updated knowledge of recent industry trends.Qualifications:Master's degree in business administration, Accounting, or Finance required.Chartered Accountant preferred.15+ years of experience in financial management required.
