Job Title: Sales Manager – Reefer Container Sales (Pharma Industry)

Job Summary:

The Sales Manager will drive revenue growth by identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities for reefer container sales within the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires strong industry knowledge, a focus on customer acquisition, and the ability to maintain long-term relationships while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and acquire new pharmaceutical clients for reefer container sales.
  • Understand customer requirements for cold chain logistics and provide tailored solutions.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.

2. Sales Strategy Execution:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Present business proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.

3. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key decision-makers in pharmaceutical companies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for cold chain logistics, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure product and service alignment with client expectations.

4. Target Achievement:

  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Track and report sales performance against defined metrics.
  • Ensure sales cycles are managed effectively to close deals within defined timelines.

5. Coordination and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Provide client feedback to internal teams to enhance product offerings and service quality.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in reefer container sales or cold chain logistics for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry logistics requirements.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
