**Financial Operations Specialist**As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial processes.Create and Send Invoices: You will be responsible for creating and reviewing invoices to clients, as well as following up on client responses and managing WIP (Work-in-Progress) write-offs, transfers, and upcoming billing schedules.Interpret Engagement Letters: You will interpret engagement letters to ensure accurate billing practices and collaborate with professional staff and billers to ensure timely and precise invoicing.Cash Management: You will monitor unapplied cash and coordinate refunds, allocate payments to correct invoices, and conduct small balance reviews. Additionally, you will review and post credit card transactions.AR Tracking: You will maintain AR tracking notes and collaborate with the collections team. Furthermore, you will assist in generating billing, AR, and cash-related reports.Financial Reporting: You will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual balance sheets and financial statements, as well as record and review journal entries for accuracy and compliance.Key Responsibilities include:Creating, reviewing, and sending invoices to clients.FOLLOWING UP ON CLIENT RESPONSES AND MANAGING WIP (WORK-IN-PROGRESS) WRITE-OFFS, TRANSFERS, AND UPCOMING BILLING SCHEDULES.INTERPRETING ENGAGEMENT LETTERS TO ENSURE ACCURATE BILLING PRACTICES.COLLABORATING WITH PROFESSIONAL STAFF AND BILLERS TO ENSURE TIMELY AND PRECISE INVOICING.MONITORING UNAPPLIED CASH AND COORDINATING REFUNDS.ALLOCATING PAYMENTS TO CORRECT INVOICES.CONDUCTING SMALL BALANCE REVIEWS.REVIEWING AND POSTING CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS.MAINTAINING AR TRACKING NOTES.ASSISTING IN GENERATING BILLING, AR, AND CASH-RELATED REPORTS.ASSISTING IN THE PREPARATION OF MONTHLY, QUARTERLY, AND ANNUAL BALANCE SHEETS AND FINANCIAL STATEMENTS.RECORDING AND REVIEWING JOURNAL ENTRIES FOR ACCURACY AND COMPLIANCE.Our ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and organizational abilities.
