Sree Gowthamaaditya Holidays and Resorts Pvt Ltd is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our water sports activities in the pristine Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless execution of water sports services while prioritizing guest safety, enhancing customer experiences, and maintaining operational efficiency.


### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Operational Management:**

- Oversee daily water sports activities, including but not limited to scuba diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, parasailing, and kayaking.

- Ensure all operations are running smoothly, adhering to schedules and customer expectations.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the safe and efficient running of water sports activities.

- **Safety and Compliance:**

- Ensure that all water sports activities comply with local regulations and international safety standards.

- Conduct regular safety drills, equipment inspections, and risk assessments to maintain a safe environment for both staff and guests.

- Liaise with local authorities to maintain necessary permits and licenses for operations.


- **Team Leadership and Training:**

- Lead and manage a team of instructors, guides, and support staff.

- Provide training to the water sports team on safety protocols, customer service, and new activities.

- Foster a positive work environment and ensure high team morale.


- **Customer Experience:**

- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction by delivering a memorable and safe water sports experience.

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring prompt resolution.

- Work with the marketing team to promote water sports activities and packages.


- **Equipment and Inventory Management:**

- Ensure all water sports equipment is well-maintained, serviced regularly, and safely stored.

- Oversee inventory management and procure new equipment when necessary.

- **Financial and Budget Management:**

- Monitor the budget for the water sports division, including revenue generation, expenses, and profit margins.

- Prepare financial reports and forecasts to provide insights to senior management.

- Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.


- **Collaboration:**

- Coordinate with resort management, marketing, and other departments to ensure smooth integration of water sports activities with overall resort operations.

- Work with external partners and vendors for events, training, and equipment procurement.


- **Sustainability and Eco-Tourism:**

- Promote environmentally friendly practices and ensure sustainable water sports operations in line with the company’s commitment to eco-tourism.

- Engage in community outreach and collaborate with local authorities on conservation efforts.


### **Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Tourism Management, Sports Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing water sports operations or a similar role, preferably in a resort or adventure tourism setting.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- In-depth knowledge of water sports safety standards, equipment maintenance, and operations.

- Certifications in scuba diving, life-saving techniques, or other water sports disciplines are a plus.

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and maintain excellent customer service.

- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with booking and scheduling software.
