We are a high-end rug atelier specializing in both classic and custom handmade rugs, working exclusively with the trade—interior designers, architects, hospitality professionals, and private clients. Our focus is on exceptional craftsmanship, design innovation, and tailored solutions for unique spaces.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Rug Designer with proven experience in custom projects. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, a strong design sensibility, and the ability to interpret and execute bespoke client requirements. This role involves close collaboration with both clients and manufacturers to ensure design integrity from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create original rug designs for custom and collection-based projects.
- Work directly with clients, interior designers, and architects to understand and translate design requirements.
- Develop detailed design specifications, including color palettes, patterns, and textures.
- Collaborate with manufacturers to ensure accurate interpretation of designs, weaving techniques, and material selection.
- Maintain a strong awareness of current design trends, materials, and rug-making processes.
- Build and manage a portfolio of custom and bespoke projects.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with international rug manufacturers is a plus.
