We specialize in crafting high-end, handmade rugs for interior designers and architects.
Job OverviewAs a skilled Rug Designer, you will create original designs for custom projects. You will work closely with clients and manufacturers to bring bespoke designs to life.
Key Responsibilities- Create unique rug designs for custom projects.
- Collaborate with clients and designers to understand and interpret design requirements.
- Develop detailed design specifications, including color palettes and patterns.
- Work with manufacturers to ensure accurate interpretation of designs and material selection.
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends and materials.
- Build and manage a portfolio of custom projects.
- Proven experience in custom rug design (portfolio required).
- Strong understanding of weaving techniques and rug materials.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD) and/or hand sketching.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience working with international rug manufacturers is a plus.
