This role oversees the operational efficiency of a manufacturing plant, ensuring world-class production standards.Lead all plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, quality, supply chain, and EHS.This position is responsible for driving strategic initiatives, maintaining strict quality control, optimizing production processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture.The ideal candidate will act as the operational leader for the plant, overseeing day-to-day activities and implementing process improvements.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement plans to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.Maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless procurement and logistics.Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth and profitability.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.Implement quality control measures to maintain product consistency and quality levels.Drive reduction of production defects and customer complaints.Safety, Health & Environment (EHS):Enforce compliance with environmental regulations and laws.Implement safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.Promote a safe work environment and maintain accurate records.People Leadership & Development:Lead cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.Recruit, retain, and develop top talent to drive business success.Engineering & Maintenance:Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs for plant equipment.Manage plant upgrades, new line installations, capacity expansions, and technology improvements.Ensure optimal uptime of plant systems and equipment.Supply Chain & Inventory Management:Develop and manage vendor relationships to optimize procurement and logistics.Implement inventory management systems to minimize waste and excess stock.Optimize supply chain operations to reduce lead times and costs.Cost & Budget Management:Analyze and manage expenses to optimize financial performance.Prepare and manage budgets to align with business objectives.Identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to achieve savings.Compliance & Government Liaison:Ensure compliance with labor laws, environmental regulations, and industry standards.Liaise with government agencies and external partners to resolve issues and achieve objectives.Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement:Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improvement.Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and increase efficiency.Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship to drive business success.
