Job Description: We are seeking a talented Snipe-IT Developer with 5+ years of experience to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining asset management solutions using Snipe-IT. This is an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects that enhance asset tracking, improve business processes, and ensure efficient software and hardware management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and customize Snipe-IT solutions to meet organizational asset management needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement workflows, customizations, and integrations with other business systems.
  • Ensure seamless deployment, configuration, and optimization of the Snipe-IT platform.
  • Maintain asset data integrity by developing automated data collection and reporting solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Snipe-IT systems, ensuring a robust and reliable environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
  • Lead Snipe-IT upgrades, migrations, and patch management, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Implement best practices for hardware and software asset management using the Snipe-IT system.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on asset management systems.
  • Expertise in Snipe-IT platform development, customization, and integration.
  • Strong experience with PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
  • Proven experience in API development and third-party integrations.
  • Solid understanding of IT asset management (ITAM) practices, including hardware and software lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and version control systems (Git).
  • Experience with Linux server environments is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
