Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the design team to implement and maintain visually appealing and user-friendly WordPress websites.
  • Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client requirements and enhance website functionality.
  • Customize existing themes and plugins to match clients' branding and design guidelines.
  • Optimize website performance by implementing efficient coding practices, caching mechanisms, and leveraging appropriate plugins.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure seamless website functionality across different browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to integrate their work into WordPress websites.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress development and implement them to improve our websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress-related issues or bugs that arise, ensuring timely resolution to minimize website downtime.
  • Maintain and update existing WordPress websites, including performing regular backups, updates, and security enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to implement on-page optimization techniques, including metadata optimization, URL structure, and XML sitemaps.

Required Skills:

  • 2-3 years of experience in WordPress development, including creating custom themes, plugins, and functionalities.
  • Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
  • Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Familiarity with popular WordPress plugins and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and on-page optimization techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
