The ideal candidate will own city-level revenue and margin outcomes, serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, and lead cross-functional teams to drive impactful, data-backed marketing strategies. This role demands commercial acumen, structured planning, and a passion for delivering measurable results at scale.ResponsibilitiesRevenue & Margin OwnershipOwn city-level revenue and gross margin targets for existing clients, ensuring YoY growth through disciplined forecasting, pipeline reviews, and structured expansion plans.Drive quarterly and monthly business reviews (QBRs/MBRs), aligning teams and clients on performance and next steps.Client Partnership & AdvisoryAct as a C-suite advisor to CMOs, VPs, and marketing heads on media mix, creative platforms, growth strategy, martech, and data-driven decision-making.Translate client objectives into actionable, measurable plans tied to business outcomes.Strategic PlanningDevelop 12-month account plans, including vision, roadmap, testing agenda, and budget scenarios.Align and coordinate cross-functional squads—media, creative, CX/CRM, analytics, and technology—to ensure seamless execution.Commercial Negotiation & GovernanceLead negotiations and governance of contracts including MSAs, SOWs, renewals, and change orders while protecting scope, utilization, and margin.Identify and mitigate delivery risks early to ensure on-time and high-quality service.Performance MeasurementDefine and implement measurement frameworks, including north-star KPIs, leading indicators, and benchmarks.Convert performance data into board-ready narratives and actionable insights for clients.Business ExpansionDrive growth through stakeholder mapping, whitespace assessment, cross-sell/upsell motions, and executive sponsorship programs.Team LeadershipBuild, coach, and mentor a high-performing team of Account Managers (~5–7 members).Set clear OKRs, establish coaching rhythms, lead hiring efforts, and cultivate a client-first, high-bar culture.Operational ExcellenceOversee capacity planning, SLA governance, delivery timelines, and quality benchmarks.Lead blameless post-mortems and continuous-improvement initiatives.Thought LeadershipPublish point-of-view content, industry insights, and market commentary.Represent the agency at forums and client events to build credibility and expand relationships.Qualifications10–14 years of experience in digital marketing or account leadership within an agency or consulting environment.Last 4–6 years of experience owning revenue and margin for strategic accounts.Strong forecasting discipline with robust pipeline management and QBR/MBR leadership involving C-suite stakeholders.Commercial acumen with hands-on experience negotiating MSAs, SOWs, pricing, renewals, and change orders.Proven experience in team leadership—coaching, hiring, succession planning, and performance management.Expertise across paid media channels, programmatic, content marketing, and creative solutions.Analytical mindset with the ability to define north-star KPIs and dashboards, and convert data into business decisions (experience with GA4, Looker, Tableau is a plus).Excellent executive communication—clear writing, persuasive presentations, and workshop facilitation.A proactive mindset, structured planning ability, and a passion for helping clients grow.Why Join Us?Work with some of the most dynamic brands and marketers in India.Lead transformational growth at both client and organizational levels.Collaborate with best-in-class teams in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Opportunity to shape industry conversations and build a lasting career in strategic account management.
