This role focuses on developing innovative solutions across battery lifecycle management including recycling, second-life applications, advanced battery management systems, and thermal management technologies that will shape the future of sustainable mobility.Key ResponsibilitiesBattery Technology InnovationExecute innovative R&D projects focused on next-generation battery technologies and applicationsLead battery recycling research and development projects to optimize material recovery and circular economy initiativesDesign and implement second-life battery applications for stationary energy storage and grid integrationConduct battery testing protocols and performance validation across various operating conditionsResearch & DevelopmentDevelop proof-of-concept prototypes for new battery technologies and system integrationsResearch and analyse emerging battery chemistries and their potential applications in mobility solutionsSupport intellectual property development through patent research and technical documentationOptimize battery pack design for 2nd life vehicle and stationary applicationsConduct lifecycle assessments of battery systems from manufacturing to end-of-life managementPrepare technical reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholdersRequired QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field1–3 years experience in battery technology, energy storage systems, or automotive engineeringExperience with battery testing, BMS development, or thermal management systems preferredEV/Energy storage industry exposure preferredTechnical ExpertiseBattery technology fundamentals including lithium-ion, solid-state, and emerging chemistriesThermal management systems including cooling strategies, heat exchangers, and HVAC designTesting equipment operation (battery analyzers, thermal chambers, oscilloscopes)Simulation software experience (MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, COMSOL, or similar)CAD software proficiency for mechanical design and system integrationData analysis skills using Python, MATLAB, or similar toolsCore CompetenciesInnovation mindset with passion for developing breakthrough battery technologiesProblem-solving abilities for complex technical challenges in battery systemsProject management skills to lead R&D initiatives from concept to implementationCross-functional collaboration with ability to work across engineering disciplinesTechnical communication to present complex concepts to diverse audiencesContinuous learning attitude toward emerging battery technologies and industry trendsWhat We OfferOpportunity to work on cutting-edge battery innovation projectsAccess to state-of-the-art testing facilities and R&D infrastructureCollaboration with leading battery technology researchers and industry expertsPlatform to shape the future of sustainable energy storage solutionsProfessional development in the rapidly evolving battery technology landscape
