Role Description 

Smoothly run and operate a range of teams coming together to drive marketing, CE and business analytics, resulting in increased business growth, tighter expense management and improved customer experience across the franchise.

This role will report to the Head of Marketing, CE and BA for the consumer banking group.

We are looking for a motivated self-starter who thrives on working in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly evolving business and is keen to build a differentiated business.

Key Responsibilities 

· Strategy and planning

o Strategically manage and improve the activities and operations across the team, to bring focus onto key priorities and streamline our selection of work, thereby increasing the team’s productivity, quality, and the overall business impact

o Ensure alignment of strategic directions, procedures, and standards across the team

o Drive high performance through the development, implementation and tracking of appropriate KPIs and measurements of senior management across different functions in the team

· Management Reporting and communication

o Manage the delivery of communication strategies to create awareness of business impact being driven by the team with senior management

o Support other team functions to remove roadblocks and solve problems by jointly setting directions for future growth along with other team leaders

o Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead/develop recommendation provides insight to management

o Provide oversight to ensure alignment of reporting and connectivity across the team

· Finance

o Provide overside in the tracking and management of department budget and expenses

o Provide overside in the planning and development of the annual departmental budget

· Customer and team experience

o Be an advisor and coach to important team initiatives and discoveries, particularly to strengthen our understanding of current and prospective consumer needs. Derive actionable consumer insights from it to inform the team strategy and improve consumer journey across the different team functions.

o Provide oversight on the implementation of feedback for the team’s satisfaction based on the internal My Voice scorecard and follow through with the required actions

Experience and Skills

· Leadership position with cross-functional experience, hand on understanding of work areas across business operations, data, marketing, customer experience, products, and business

· Ideally, 4 -12 years of work experience and a proven track record of executing large-scale transformative strategic projects and initiatives

· Strong credentials as an organisation leader with deep business acumen, providing the ability to understand strategic organisation issues and lead and influence change in ambiguous settings

· Significant experience managing senior sponsors and working in a multiple-stakeholder environment

· Able to drive an agenda and influence stakeholders outside of romal reporting lines is a must

· A self-starter on collaborator that flourishes in a fast pace, different work cultures across the region and a results-driven environment

· Exercise strong analytical and critical thinking skills, solve complex problems, communicate your findings, conduct impact assessment, and change management

· Intellectually agile, self-confident and with a strong executive presence. Able to challenge the status quo sensitively and constructively

· Experience working in financial services or FMCG is a plus

· Strong experience working in cross-functional teams (local and global) with an ability to influence key stakeholders with data-driven and insightful points of view

· Open mindset with the ability to think of out-of-the-box solutions

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to instantly connect with people and manage ongoing relationships for positive outcomes

· MBA from a premier institute
