Job Overview:


We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketplace Head to manage and grow our presence on various online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, a strategic mindset, and the ability to execute initiatives that drive revenue and improve customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:


- Marketplace Strategy Development: Create and implement strategies to maximize sales and improve visibility on marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and others.

- Product Listings & Content Optimization: Ensure accurate and optimized product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, and keywords, to increase conversions.

- Pricing & Promotions: Manage competitive pricing strategies and work on promotional campaigns to drive sales growth.

- Inventory Management: Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure sufficient stock levels, timely shipments, and smooth order fulfillment.

- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Regularly analyze marketplace performance metrics (sales, traffic, conversion rates) and generate reports to share insights and opportunities for growth.

- Customer Experience: Monitor customer feedback and reviews, addressing any concerns and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

- Marketplace Relationships: Build strong relationships with marketplace account managers to leverage platform tools, resources, and opportunities.

- Market Trends & Competitor Analysis: Stay updated on marketplace trends, best practices, and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.


Skills & Qualifications:


- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- 5+ years of experience in marketplace management, e-commerce, or digital marketing.

- Strong understanding of online marketplace platforms like Amazon Seller Central, eBay, and Walmart Marketplace.

- Proficiency in data analytics, reporting tools, and Excel.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

- Experience with digital advertising on marketplaces (e.g., Amazon PPC).

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


Preferred:


- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce platforms.

- Familiarity with marketplace automation tools and software.

- Experience in managing large product catalogs.
