About the Role:
We are partnering with a leading provider of strategic cloud transformation and IT consulting services to find an Architect - Enterprise Solutions. We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Enterprise Solutions Architect to lead the design and deployment of advanced enterprise solutions, with a focus on Workday integrations and related technologies. This is a senior client-facing role requiring a strategic thinker capable of leading technical engagements, mentoring teams, and expanding our technical capabilities in the integration domain.
Key Responsibilities
1. Architectural Leadership:
- Define and drive the architecture for enterprise solutions, focusing on scalable, secure, and efficient designs.
- Lead the Workday integrations workstream for enterprise-wide deployments, AMS projects, and optimization initiatives.
- Serve as the technical lead for client engagements, overseeing design, development, testing, and deployment of integration solutions.
2. Client Collaboration:
- Work closely with local and international clients to understand requirements, develop integration strategies, and manage expectations.
- Lead discussions on solution design, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical best practices.
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges and critical issues.
3. Technical Expertise and Contribution:
- Design and implement enterprise integrations using tools such as Workday Studio, EIB, Cloud Connectors, and APIs.
- Optimize existing systems and provide expertise in Workday reporting, BIRT development, and data transformation.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies like Generative AI and Workday Extend, contributing to innovation and capability expansion.
4. Team Development:
- Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
- Manage team workload and ensure high-quality deliverables across multiple projects.
- Drive the growth of the enterprise architecture function within the organization.
Experience:
- 12 - 15 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 4 years in enterprise architecture and Workday or related HCM integrations.
- Proven expertise in deployment and post-production support of enterprise solutions.
- Experience working with certified Workday partners and holding relevant Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Studio, Extend, CCTPP preferred).
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in integration technologies, including APIs, SOAP, REST, XML, XSLT, and Java/.NET.
- Advanced knowledge of Workday integration tools (EIB, Cloud Connectors, Document Transformation).
- Expertise in enterprise data architecture and reporting tools like Workday Reporting and BIRT.
Soft Skills:
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
