Job Purpose : ü  Complying with the company's policies and standard operating procedures ü  Overseeing all operations, such as receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance of products. ü  Ensure receiving and ensuring all purchased products are of acceptable quality and validity. ü  Staying in contact with the Purchasing team to ensure that stock is always accessible is highly recommended. ü  Consistently update the stock inventory data stored in Shipskart's Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accuracy. ü  Safeguarding warehouse operations by complying with extensive security procedures and protocols. ü  Monitor daily activities to ensure a seamless workflow and enhance processes for optimum efficiency. ü  Adhering to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation laws and requirements. ü  Assisting in upgrading and implementing optimal operational warehouse procedures. ü  Maintaining benchmarked standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security. ü  Being responsible for inventory stock control and warehouse organization. ü  Liaise with suppliers and transport companies as required. ü  Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc). ü  Ensuring the inventory is easily accessible and that customers get their orders on time should be one of your top priorities.  General Competencies : Must be digitally literate - ERP, WMS, Scanning, OCR, etc Must be financially literate (budgets, cost management, P&L, working capital Must be capable of leading a team Must be a good listener and communicator Must be capable of building and maintaining robust relationships with vendors, service providers and partners Must be compliant to systems, policies and procedures Must have good time-management skills Specific Competencies : 1.    Must have FMCG (Food items / frozen items ) handling experience.  2.  Must be organised and structured, in thought and action Must be cost conscious Must be detail-oriented Must be knowledgeable about marine products and services Ability to analyze data and provide insights from data Must be an empathetic leader. Attributes: Must have a Bachelor's Degree, in any discipline At least 10 years' experience in warehousing / supply chain At least 2 years as warehouse manager in a B2C warehouse Must be able to communicate very well, orally and in writing Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures Must have experience/familiarity with ERP usage and general digital operations.
