Purposeof Role:

AComposites Methods Engineer specializes in the design developmentand manufacturing processes of composite materials They ensure thatcomposite materials (like carbon fiber fiberglass and resins) areeffectively integrated into product designs and manufacturedefficiently. Here s a detailed breakdown of the roles andresponsibilities of a Composites MethodsEngineer.

Roles andResponsibilities:

1. Design andDevelopment

  • Develop methods for thedesign and manufacturing of composite materials for components andstructures.
  • Work with design teams toensure composite materials meet the necessary structural thermaland durabilityrequirements.
  • Evaluateand analyze product designs for manufacturability and suggestdesign changes to optimize the use of compositematerials.
  • GenerateCAD models technical drawings and tooling designs for compositecomponents.

2. Material Selection andTesting
